About Us

We are a small family run sailing school, one of the oldest established schools in the UK providing quality sail training by mature, patient and professional skippers from both Poole and the Hamble. Whether you are looking for RYA training, practical, shorebased or own boat tuition, we can provide the very best in Yachtmaster Instructors.
Our offices are on Poole Quay overlooking the harbour and Marina and within our office we have a dedicated classroom for up to twelve students.
We also offer offshore racing and will be running RORC races again this year as well as everyone's favourite the Round The Island Race.
Our Fastrack Yachtmaster course which is called Sail UK's Bluewater Academy will have three start dates this year all with exciting itineraries and we are also offering Adventure Sailing on board our Ocean going yacht Bold Explorer venturing to the Channel Islands, around the UK, the Continent, the Western Isles and the Azores to name but a few.
