Welcome to Sail UK

Sail UK Yachting and Racing, offers RYA Courses from both the Hamble and Poole centres with theory courses taken in our dedicated classroom overlooking Poole Quay.

We run three Bluewater Academy fourteen week Fastrack Yachtmaster courses with quality sailing experiences taking in destinations such as Denmark, Orkney, Skye, and many other exciting destinations as well as ocean sailing to Islands such as the Azores and Las Palmas to name but a couple. Perfect training for obtaining work in the industry or simply as a gap year achievement.

Adventure sailing - is ocean sailing visiting interesting and exciting destinations in one, two or three week legs.

We offer offshore racing with the Fastnet race and all of its qualifying races.

Fastrack Yacht Master Course

This is Sail UK’s Fastrack Yachtmaster Programme.

This course will lead you to the level of Offshore Yachtmaster in fourteen weeks capable of going on to work in the industry or simply to enjoy your new found expertise as a Yachtmaster. If you have already achieved part of the Yachtmaster syllabus i.e. Day Skipper level, then we can tailor the course to suit your individual requirements and adjust the cost accordingly.

> Sail UK Appoint Dave Eagland as their new chief instructor

Sail UK is pleased to announce the appointment of Dave Eagland as our new Chief Instructor. Dave, a Yachtmaster Instructor Ocean, brings with him a wealth of experience in both Bluewater cruising as well as RYA practical sail training. We welcome Dave on board and know that you will enjoy his company whilst also receiving quality sailing instruction.

> Bold Explorer Trips now available

Bold Explorer will be making cross channel and coastal trips throughout the coming months and also undertaking a round trip of the UK with our Bluewater Fastrack Yachtmaster candidates as well as making a summer trip to the Azores before heading south to the Canary Islands again.
